My Hometown
My hometown is Fuzhou, which is located in the south east of China, opposite Taiwan. Fuzhou is a small city. It has a lot of seafood, because it is near the sea.
The population of Fuzhou is around 8 million.
The weather in Fuzhou is colder than in Sydney. In summer the temperature is about 39 degrees. In winter it's about 2 degrees, so it doesn't snow. In summer in the evening people often go out. They go to parks or go shopping. The shops don't close early. Every day in the morning a lot of people are in the parks. They do exercise there. There are more old people than young people there. It is a busy city.
The citizens of Fuzhou are friendly and sociable.

Today is Thursday 1st May. The weather is sunny and cold. I had 2 weeks holidays. In the holidays, the first week- it was raining. So, I stayed at home and played on the computer. But sometimes, I went to my friend's home to play cards and also we had BBQ. The second week, I went fishing with my friends. That day was sunny. I also swam in the sea. The water was cold but still it had a lot of people swimming there. I stayed in the sea for 1 hour. Then I started fishing. I caught some fish and my friends caught some too. After that, I went to a restaurant with my friends. I ate a bowl of noodles. Then I went to my friend's home. After dinner I went to home.

Today is Thursday 10th April. The weather is sunny and warm. We are having a party in the afternoon. Because today is last day of school. We are going to have two weeks holiday. I'm going to find a job. We brought food to school this morning. I brought a watermelon. We'll have a good time!

GYM- my favourite pastime

My favourite sport is gym. I started gym when I was 17 years old. I go to the gym five days a week. When I was in China, I had a lot of friends in the gym. Now I don't have any friend in the gym but I still go to the gym.
